SELF-DISCOVERY
STORIES
Hi, I'm Anna and I'm glad you're here
Balance isn't a gift.
It's a daily choice.
I'm a mother, a tech professional, a woman curious about life. I feel most at home somewhere between science and lived experience.
In this online space, I share my personal experiences with health, wellbeing, and spirituality — and the tools I use to stay grounded.
My Motivation
I grew up in scarcity, learning to survive by suppressing my emotions and pain. Those habits helped me through childhood, but they stayed with me long after I no longer needed them.
Over time, I started wondering what it means to live differently. Today, I experiment with different tools, techniques, and approaches — not because I expect them all to work, but because each one helps me understand myself a little better.
I’m discovering myself newly: trying to understand what genuinely matters to me instead of living out someone else’s expectations. In this process, I try to be as honest as possible — with myself, and with what I share here.
Curious where this drive comes from? I go deeper into it on My Reasons Why.
Why I Share
I share my intimate experiences — whether it's the frustration of an endometriosis diagnosis or the unromanticized reality of motherhood — for a few reasons:
-
To End the "Hushing": Too many women's health issues are treated as secrets, or as "just the way it is." I believe speaking up creates the demand for better research and more direct support.
-
My Wellbeing Toolbox: I share my experience with things like TCM, nutrition, acupuncture, and chiropractic. These are personal data points, not advice — just tools I've tested and found useful.
-
A Bridge to the Unconventional: I have an analytical mind — I value data, structure, logic. But I've also found real healing in less conventional places: shamanic teachings, hypnotherapy, energy work. I know these topics can be polarizing. I approach them with the same curiosity I bring to everything else, to see if they can help resolve old patterns. I share them not to convince anyone, but to offer another view on what science hasn't fully mapped yet.
I’m not a doctor, therapist, or coach. I’m simply someone who’s spent years experimenting, reflecting, and learning. If something I’ve experienced helps you ask a new question or feel a little less alone, then sharing it was worthwhile.
This is my own, different perspective. Annather view.
